A Brief Bio Sketch

 

Dr.R.K.Hemakumar Singh joined as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry Department, Manipur University on July 18th,1988 and became Professor in the year 2006 .He served as the Head of Department of Chemistry during the year 2007-2010 and as the  Dean of Student’s Welfare during 2012-2015.

Prof.R.K Hemakumar  Singh was also given the charge of the  Principal, Manipur Institute of Technology by the Manipur University Authority w.e.f September 25th, 2013. He is a member of Academic Council and also member of some committees of the University at present.

He was a member of the Executive Council of the University as HOD and DSW.

Prof. R.K Hemakumar Singh produced 8(eight) Ph.D graduates in Chemistry and published a number of research papers in National and International Journals. He acted as Subject Expert/Advisor in selection committee meetings of some Universities and Public Service Commissions.

Prof. R.K Hemakumar Singh ia s life member of Indian Association of Nuclear Chemists and Allied Scientists (IANCAS), BARC  Mumbai.
